Strings of Light and Shadow: Romantic Echoes Across Generations
The Victory Youth Orchestra will present a concert themed on 19th-century German Romanticism in the summer of 2026, featuring Gold Award conductor Cheng Li-pin (鄭立彬) and renowned violinist Chang Jui-chou (張睿洲). The program highlights classic works by Mendelssohn and Brahms, including Mendelssohn's 'Fingal's Cave' and 'Violin Concerto in E minor', as well as Brahms' 'Symphony No.4'. This performance not only showcases the orchestra's excellent ensemble and the talent of young musicians but also leads the audience through music to experience the emotions and landscapes of the Romantic era.
