Powerchip 2026 Arts Feast - Chopin Project: From Warsaw to Paris (1831–1837)

The "2026 Chopin Project" is a musical journey that uses time as its axis to fully recreate Chopin's creative career. This session, "From Warsaw to Paris," focuses on the crucial period when Chopin left Poland and established his identity as an artist in Paris. It is performed by ten pianists including Chen Chun-ning (陳鈞甯) and Li Chi-jui (李其叡), interpreting classic pieces such as the Etudes Op. 10 and 25, and the Ballade No. 1. Through the perspectives of performers from different generations, the audience will experience the stylistic transformation in Chopin's music from breaking classical frameworks to romanticism, feeling the poetry and dramatic tension of his years in exile.
