Parent-Child Shared Reading Lecture: Reading Prescription - Using Children's Books to Unlock Your Child's Developmental Milestones

This lecture invites Dr. Chen Yu-ta (陳宥達), chairman of the Taiwan Reach Out and Read Association (臺灣展臂閱讀協會), parent-child shared reading consultant and textbook review committee member, to give a talk. Besides helping parents understand the importance of shared reading for child development, the lecture guides parents to recognize the profound impact of shared reading on language expression, emotional stability, and parent-child relationships, teaching how to select age-appropriate books and use interactive shared reading techniques, and learning to create a friendly reading environment.
This activity is mainly for families with young children. Parents must accompany their children throughout. Families participating in the parent-child lecture will receive one promotional gift.
Families with infants and toddlers aged 0-5 are welcome to sign up. Registration is open now. No fee is charged: please register on the Miaoli County Library (苗栗縣立圖書館) website / activity registration section. 20 parent-child groups will be accepted, with 2 on the waiting list. Registration closes when full.
