Nantou Old Street Reading Club

What the reading club accumulates is knowledge of local studies, establishing an epistemology of the locality. We have read many texts and invited experts to give lectures, attempting through various methods to construct a knowledge system belonging to Nantou itself.
Starting in 2020, we have held a monthly self-initiated Nantou Old Street Reading Club. After the meetings, we often spontaneously discuss local cultural history and read together about the related history of Nantou City. During the pandemic, the online reading club did not stop, allowing us to understand the appearance of Nantou City during the Japanese period and in history.
The Nantou Old Street Reading Club meets on the first Thursday of every month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Friends who are interested are welcome to join!

Fee: Minimum purchase of one drink
