Music Stage Play - Unforgettable Wooden Rose

Date: 2026-07-24
The Neo-Classical Chamber Orchestra's new production, the music stage play "Unforgettable Wooden Rose," uses Taiwan's landscapes and crafts as a backdrop to tell a moving story between a city girl and a woodcarving artist about dreams and reality. The performance brings together a strong cast including conductor Chen Hsin-i, singer-actors Yu Hao-wei, Chen Yuan-hsi, and Tsai En-lin. It cleverly incorporates classic oldies such as "Longing for the Spring Breeze" and "Sweet as Honey," using innovative cross-disciplinary theater aesthetics to evoke the audience's generational memories and emotional resonance.
