[Love Has Power (愛有為)] The 8th Wan Hai Charity Talent Competition for Persons with Disabilities Finals

Some cannot hear the melody, yet feel the rhythm with their bodies; some cannot see the stage lights, yet illuminate others with their voices; and some overcome physical limitations to pursue their dreams. Every performance is the most moving interpretation of life. With love in the heart, there is infinite courage; let love have great power.

In 2026, the 8th Wan Hai Charity Talent Competition for Persons with Disabilities, "Love Has Power (愛有為)," selected 18 groups from 145 contestants to advance to the finals. Each performer has an extraordinary story.

This year's finals will be held for the first time on Saturday, July 18, at the Grand Performance Hall of the Taiwan Theater and Music Center (臺灣戲曲中心大表演廳), co-organized with the National Center for Traditional Arts (國立傳統藝術中心). The opening will feature a cross-disciplinary performance by hearing-impaired sheng musician Chiu Yen-cheng (邱彦承) and the Taiwan Chinese Orchestra (臺灣國樂團).

This is not just a talent competition; it is a grand event to witness courage, dreams, and the power of life. We sincerely invite you to come in person and applaud every performer with disabilities who bravely pursues their dreams.
