"Loss and Rebirth" NCKU Symphony Orchestra 2026 Summer Tour Concert
The National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Orchestra presents its 2026 summer tour concert, "Ruins and Rebirth." The first half features Antonín Dvořák's warm and vibrant Symphony No. 5, while the second half performs a series of modern orchestral works depicting historical ruins and the rise and fall of civilizations, including "Machu Picchu— City in the Sky," "Jericho," "Pompeii," and "Vesuvius." This concert offers a profound musical journey through lost civilizations, culminating in a powerful testament to rebirth and resilience.
