“Hear the Puppets Tell the Story: This Is Hakka Bayin” is an innovative collaboration between Tien-wu Pei-kuan Bayin Troupe and I-wan-jan Puppet Theater, breaking the traditional role of music as mere backstage accompaniment. Through a dual-stage design, the puppets and the Hakka bayin ensemble interact in real time to co-narrate the story, weaving together drama, music, and cultural meaning.
