Nan-yin Melodies Resound, Heritage Endures Unceasingly
The Kinmen County Hsien-chou Hsin-chuan Nan-yin Society will hold six Nan-yin training, teaching, and performance art activities from January to September. Fellow residents and friends are invited to attend nearby and appreciate together the most moving traditional music of Kinmen.
Nan-kuan (Nan-yin) is Kinmen's precious local traditional music. Through the format of group music practice, combined with vocal demonstration, instrument introduction, and on-site interaction, the activities lead community members to easily understand the cultural depth and artistic beauty of Nan-yin, experiencing its delicate and far-reaching traditional sound.
