Imagining Chamber

"Imagining Chamber" is an innovative concert presented by the Overtime Music Chamber Ensemble. It deconstructs and rearranges Saint-Saens's classical <i>Carnival of the Animals</i> using modern musical techniques, and specially invites Master Su Chun-ying (蘇俊穎) to combine it with dynamic performances using traditional Taiwanese Puppet Theater hand puppets. The concert will also premiere the Taiwanese-language composition <i>Si-moo e Lang (思慕的人)</i> by teacher Cheng Mei-hsiu (鄭美秀), and will feature a selection of pieces from Vivaldi, classic oldies, Japanese anime, and Broadway musicals, performed by an ensemble of woodwinds, strings, guitar, and cajon, guiding the audience through the intersection of classical and modern, Eastern and Western music.
