Hao Sheng Music Ensemble Chamber Orchestra - "Island Polyphony" (好聲樂集室內樂團-《島嶼複音》)
"Polyphony of Formosa" is a contemporary string music concert curated by the Hao-Sheng Chamber Orchestra, focusing on Taiwan's diverse cultural soundscape. The program features eight new string works by composers including Wen Lung-hsin, Peng Ching, Lee Hsin-yun, Yang Hsiao-en, and Yang Chi-po, blending elements from indigenous, Hakka, Hokkien, and urban sounds to reflect the island's polyphonic cultural energy. Under the musical direction of Wu Ting-yu, with special guest sheng virtuoso Yang Chi-po and saxophonist Yang Hsiao-en, this concert offers a unique fusion of classical tradition and local Taiwanese creativity.
