Formosa Gramophone Project "Taichung State Story" Concert
The Formosa Gramophone Project "Taichung State Story" concert, curated by the Taiwan Youth Wind Orchestra, is a journey of roots-searching that connects the memories of Taichung city and the cultural context of Taiwan through wind music. The concert specially invites musicians such as Japanese composer Watanabe Tetsuya to transform images of the land, such as water buffaloes, sunflowers, and "Rainy Night Flower," into music, while reinterpreting historical melodies to lead the audience in experiencing poetic dialogue across time and space and rich cultural heritage.
