"Do You... Still Remember?"

Date: 2026-06-18 Organizer: 郭靖沐 ;任重;潘宜彤
"Do You... Still Remember?" rethinks, from a contemporary perspective, the ways traditional instruments are perceived and their emotional significance in modern society. Centered on the theme of "memory," the production draws from everyday experiences and collective cultural memory. Through the interwoven sonic vocabulary of the zheng, zhongruan, reed pipes, and xiao, it transforms personal emotions and generational memories, turning music into a space for audience self-projection and empathy. In addition to original works by the three core members, the production commissions new pieces for the ensemble from young composers Cho Chi-jou (卓綺柔) and Chen Chuan-yu (陳傳禹). Each composer approaches the work from observations of life, urban soundscapes, and cultural memory, shaping a multi-layered sonic landscape. The works thus possess the delicate texture of personal expression while also responding to the shared emotional experiences of contemporary society.
