Dad's Friendly Tea Garden - Immersive Picture Book Animation Exhibition

From April 6th to October 31st, Taoyuan City Library Lungtan Branch presents the innovative reading-themed exhibition "New Vision of Picture Books: Immersive Picture Book Animation Exhibition." Through animation, sound design, and immersive projection space, it extends picture book stories from paper reading into a three-dimensional visual world, allowing the audience to feel as if they have walked into the story scene, experiencing a new form of reading amidst the interplay of light, shadow, and sound.

This exhibition is based primarily on the picture book "Dad's Friendly Tea Garden." Published by Hsiao Lu Publishing, the author and illustrator Chang Hsiu-hsu (張秀毓) depicts the symbiotic life of tea farmers and the land with a warm touch, conveying the concepts of friendly farming methods and environmental harmony. The exhibition transforms the picture book's images into animated visuals, presenting the natural scenery of the tea garden through the changing seasons, leading the audience to feel the culture of the mountains, forests, and land.
