Since 2021, the Steal Fire Theatre (盜火劇團) has launched a residency collaboration program with the Hsinchu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau. Through a series of courses and youth drama summer camp programs, it integrates the resources of the Hsinchu County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau, encouraging local residents in Hsinchu to engage with arts venues in flexible and diverse ways, aiming to cultivate more local young creators and continuously accumulate local energy.

The first week of the Chu-feng Drama Summer Camp focuses on "instruction," guiding participants to understand the three-dimensional aspects of theater creation: playwriting, acting, and directing. A stage management class is also arranged to encourage a comprehensive understanding of the theater environment. This week, under the professional guidance of the instructors, participants will gradually develop their own creations and viewpoints.

The second week of the course focuses on "rehearsal," directed by Lin Chih-ching (林志慶), with all participants acting as actors. They will experience how professional theater actors work in the rehearsal studio with the director, fellow actors, and design/technical teams, personally participating in the creative process of a play from scratch and feeling the most important aspect of theater: teamwork. All participants will present the "Chu-feng Drama Summer Camp Showcase" on August 2nd.

This year, the program collaborates for the third time with Hong Kong's HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity for joint recruitment, providing participants with international exchange opportunities and bringing diverse creative perspectives to the drama summer camp. Through comedic creation methods, the everyday life of youth is transformed into stage performances, creating a campus situational comedy unique to the Chu-feng participants.
