"Cheng Meng Hakka" Permanent Exhibition at the Taiwan Hakka Culture Park
This exhibition is based on the pre-exhibition research book "Cheng Meng" as its curatorial theme. "Cheng Meng" signifies mutual respect and gratitude between the Hakka ethnic group and Taiwanese society. The main visual uses the letter H of "Hakka" as an image,摹写 the posture of two people "joining hands" to cooperate, expressing the spirit of mutual包容 and co-creating the splendid characteristic culture of the Treasure Island; it also carries the meaning of "cupping hands" in gratitude, thereby highlighting the exhibition theme "Cheng Meng Hakka." The exhibition content reinterprets Hakka culture from five perspectives: "Historical Hakka," "Global Hakka," "Common People's Hakka," "Cultural Hakka," and "Civic Hakka"; it aims to demonstrate through this exhibition that Hakka is an indispensable part of Taiwan's多元 culture and to express the universal value that Taiwan nourishes Hakka culture and Hakka enriches Taiwanese culture.
