Bass on the Meridian

Date: 2026-07-07 — 2026-07-20
"Bass on the Meridian" is a trio performance exploring atypical chamber music sounds. Featuring U.S.-based tuba player Weng Lin-hsuan-wei (翁林玄維), collaborating with the internationally award-winning Meridian Duo (violinist Chang Shan-hsin (張善昕) and pianist Kanami Nishimoto (西本佳奈美)), this unique combination of tuba, violin, and piano initiates a deep dialogue that transcends voice boundaries. The program includes works by Brahms, Reshenov, and Kucir, showcasing the multiple layers and contemporary interpretations of chamber music sound.
