This day is not only the birthday of Mr. Yen Shui-long (顏水龍), the father of Taiwanese crafts, but also World Environment Day, symbolizing the deep connection between humans and nature.
To welcome this important festival for Taiwanese crafts, the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute and the selected "65 Craftsmanship Day ‧ Professional Experience Workshops" jointly launch the "Craftsmanship Wave ‧ Slow Living" experience connection project, inviting all interested people across Taiwan to participate. Craftsmen will personally lead participants to feel the warmth of the interweaving of craftsmanship and life through hands-on making and experience.
