65 Craft Festival: Craft Play Theater - Craft Class on the Lawn 'Mountain Town Landscape Texture Collage Workshop' (2 Sessions)
During the 2026 '65 Craft Festival,' a five-day 'Craft Play Theater' is launched, inviting you to step into the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to experience the diverse facets of crafts in a way that is closer to daily life.
From the outdoor lawn to indoor spaces, through the interweaving of theater, stories, music, and hands-on activities, three main themes are planned: 'Outdoor Hands-on Theater,' 'Indoor Picture Book Music Story,' and 'Craft Class on the Lawn,' allowing different age groups to find their own suitable ways to participate and gradually immerse themselves in the rhythm of crafts in various settings.
Let's step into these spaces, leave our own moments between watching and participating, and bring those personally experienced processes back into our daily lives.
Craft Class on the Lawn 'Mountain Town Landscape Texture Collage Workshop'
~ Paste every piece of the mountain town's scenery into your painting!
During the activity, both children and adults can start by observing the environment, collecting plant textures and natural materials, and gradually transforming the landscape of Chiu-chiu-feng (九九峰) in Tsao-tun (草屯), Nantou, into a scene on paper.
Through fiber handmade paper collage, each tear and each paste is like awakening the contours and layers of the mountain town, bringing the artwork to life step by step. Paired with rubbing techniques, everyone's creative traces become clearly visible, and the joy of completing the entire artwork together can be felt.
Let's bring the mountain town into our hands and create a unique landscape collage!
