2026 Summer Taiwan History Workshop
Workshop Courses: Taiwan History from an Archaeological Perspective (Prof. Liu Yi-chang); Post-WWII Trials of Taiwanese War Criminals: The Cases of Lin Mu-ken from Chiayi and Yeh Ting-kuei from Tainan (Prof. Hsu Hsueh-chi); Competing for a Hand: Cross-'National' Marriages under the Dutch East India Company (Prof. Kang Pei-te); The Enlightenment Activities of the Cultural Association's Photo Team and the Mei-Tai Group (Prof. Li Yu-lan); How Do Ports Connect the World and the Hinterland? The Urban Formation and Transformation of Keelung and Kaohsiung (Prof. Li Wen-huan); The Overseas Experience of the Hakka in Liudui during the Japanese Colonial Period (Prof. Lin Cheng-hui); "Justification by Obedience": The Renovation of the Liudui Zhongyi Pavilion and Ethnic Strategies (Prof. Tseng Ling-yi).
Participants: High school students and above, teachers, local historical and cultural workers, tourism industry professionals, and the general public. Estimated number of participants: 95.
Registration Method: All interested participants must fill out a registration form and register by Wednesday, May 20, 2026, using one of the following methods:

Please register in person with the contact person, Ms. Huang, at the Editorial Section on the 4th floor of the Cultural Relics Building, Taiwan Historica, during office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
