The 2026 Soundwave Arts Festival presents Ming Hwa Yuan's Huang Tzu Troupe with the classic opera "Wan-li Cloud." Starring Weng Miao-hua, Chen Tzu-hao, and Chen Ling, the story follows the mythological roc Wan-li Cloud who descends to the mortal world, saves Emperor Sung Jen-tsung, but then impersonates him, creating a chaotic "two emperors under one sky."
