2026 Penghu International Maritime Fireworks Festival (August 18) (澎湖國際海上花火節)

The Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival is held at the Kuan-yin Pavilion (觀音亭) area. The beautiful fireworks complement the unique bay environment and the romantic Hsi-ying Rainbow Bridge (西瀛虹橋). Since the fireworks launch site is only about 300 meters from the audience viewing area, visitors can enjoy the fireworks up close. 8- to 12-inch high-altitude fireworks create a stunning display over the sea at night, as if within arm's reach. This unique on-site thrill is the most attractive feature of the Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival, making it highly distinctive compared to other county and city tourism fireworks events. In addition to the dazzling fireworks, the stage activities feature many famous artists and local performance groups in rotating精彩 performances. With a spacious viewing area and no traffic congestion concerns, visitors can fully immerse themselves in a leisurely and romantic atmosphere.
