2026 New Ideas Lab: Black Dog Theatre's 'That Voice Has Never Disappeared' Work-in-Progress Showing

This is a work-in-progress showing of the final installment of Black Dog Theatre's "War Trilogy," co-created by playwright Wang Shao-chun (王少君) and director Peng Tzu-ling (彭子玲). Through extensive fieldwork and oral histories, the work excavates the vitality contained within Taiwan, an "island of war," beneath a century of scars, and attempts to find emotional connections and spaces for dialogue that transcend fear within collective memory.
