2026 National Theater & Concert Hall Summer Jazz Festival Orchestra "Rookies and Brownies"

The 2026 NTCH Summer Jazz Project presents "Bird & Brownie," celebrating its 15th anniversary by honoring the legacies of saxophonist Charlie Parker and trumpeter Clifford Brown. Led by Stacey Wei with Music Director Michael Mossman, Taiwan's most prestigious jazz ensemble features stellar musicians like Rich Huang, Antonio Hart, and YuYing Hsu, and introduces a string section for the first time. This groundbreaking fusion of bebop, Latin rhythms, and classical orchestration expands the jazz soundscape into a grand, innovative experience.
