2026 Kuandu Arts Festival Drama School Summer Production "Topaze"

This play is adapted from the classic satirical comedy by French author Marcel Pagnol, produced by the Drama School of Taipei National University of the Arts. It tells the story of a teacher, Topaze, who is overly honest, and his journey through the torrents of power and profit. The audience will witness, in a sharp and humorous rhythm, how an upright personality faces the absurdities and temptations of real society, thereby reflecting on the struggle between one's own beliefs and survival.
