2026 Film Art Sharing Project – Firefly Cinema: "A Dream in the Wilderness"

"A Dream in the Wilderness" (我在荒野做了一場夢) is an ecological documentary directed by Golden Horse director Shen Ko-shang (沈可尚), completed over six years. The film documents naturalist and ecological photographer Hsu Jen-hsiu (徐仁修), after facing a surgery announcement in 2019, as he ventures deep into the Amazon rainforest in pursuit of the blue morpho butterfly and other unfinished explorations. This work explores the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature, as well as the limits of life.
