115th Year Miaoli County Hakka Deep-Rooted Service Plan: Hakka Storytelling Activities (2 Sessions)
To promote Hakka language cultivation from the grassroots, the "115th Year Miaoli County Hakka Deep-Rooted Service Plan" hosted by the Miaoli County Government will launch lively and interesting "Hakka Storytelling Activities" from May 30 to August 30. Families recognized by the Hakka Affairs Council and adults and children are invited to listen to stories, learn Hakka, play while learning, and learn while playing! This event enters communities, libraries, and parent-child spaces, using diverse methods such as picture book reading, fun interactions, hands-on DIY, cultural walking tours, and situational experiences to guide families in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to engage with Hakka language and local culture. Through different themed courses, children can naturally learn Hakka while listening to stories, playing games, and engaging in hands-on experiences. Parents can also rediscover the charm and emotional connection of Hakka culture in daily life through their participation. Modern families mostly communicate in Mandarin, leading to the rapid loss of mother tongue culture. To continue promoting Hakka inheritance and development, Miaoli County has planned a series of Hakka storytelling activities. It hopes that through lively and life-oriented methods, the public can naturally encounter Hakka during participation, learn about Miaoli's local cultural characteristics through story interactions, further enhance their identification with Hakka and local culture, and jointly create a Hakka-friendly environment.
