Lectures
115th Year Hakka Folk Plant Lecture: Hakka Ritual Culture Plants
Did you know that the plants on the ritual offering table are not just offerings, but also embody the Hakka people's respect for their ancestors and gratitude for all things in heaven and earth?
From the plants commonly seen in ritual ceremonies to the cultural meanings they symbolize, each plant carries the life wisdom and faith values of Hakka ancestors. By understanding these ritual culture plants, we can not only learn about traditional Hakka customs but also feel the spirit of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
This time, we have invited Teacher Peng Hung-yuan (彭宏源) to introduce knowledge about Hakka ritual plants. All fellow villagers are welcome to participate enthusiastically!
Interested friends are welcome to join and discover the green wisdom in Hakka culture together!
Participants in the course can receive a small gift. Quantities are limited, so please register early.
To register, please contact the library at 037-994760!
